Biography

Optometrist Caroline Poveromo graduated from The University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2012 and received her Doctorate from The Southern College of Optometry in 2016. Dr. Poveromo completed external rotations at SouthEast Eye Specialists in Knoxville, as well as a private practice externship in Newport, TN.

 

An East Tennessee native, Dr. Poveromo returned to the area she calls home to practice optometry.

 

Dr. Poveromo practices adult and pediatric primary eye care, comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses; surgical pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery; and ocular disease management including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, injuries and infections.

 

Dr. Caroline Poveromo is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and the East Tennessee Society of Optometric Physicians.
