Biography
Optometrist Savannah Hammer earned her undergraduate degree from Carson Newman University in 2014 and graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 2019. Before joining Volunteer Eyecare in July, Hammer will complete an externship with Toyos Clinic in Germantown, Tennessee.
A native East Tennesseean, Dr. Hammer was born and raised in Dandridge. Hammer is a member of the Student Section of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society, and the Lions Club.
Hammer practices adult and pediatric primary care, including advanced care ocular disease management and contact lens fitting. Previously, she completed rotations at The Eye Center in Memphis Tennessee and another externship at Jones Eyecare in Germantown, Tennessee.
